Data Processing Standards • Last Revised Feb 2026
Matrix is designed with a "Privacy by Design" philosophy. We categorize collected data into two streams: Functional Identifiers (required for the bot to operate) and User-Generated Content (data provided by your community staff).
Functional Identifiers include Snowflake IDs for Guilds, Channels, and Users. We do not collect "Real World" PII such as home addresses or government identification.
To facilitate ERLC management, we may process Roblox Usernames, User IDs, and Group Ranks. This data is pulled via public API endpoints. At no point does Matrix request, store, or intercept Roblox account passwords or 2FA codes. Verification is handled through secure token-based systems or status-check methods.
To provide high-availability service, Matrix utilizes third-party infrastructure. By using the Service, you consent to data being processed by:
Under global data protection regulations, users are entitled to the following rights: The right to be informed, the right of access, and the right to erasure. You may request a machine-readable export of all data associated with your User ID by contacting our Support Team at discord.gg/5M33zk8TYD.
We implement industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit. Access to our internal database is restricted to lead developers and is protected by multi-factor authentication. In the event of a data breach, all affected Guild Owners will be notified within 72 hours via Discord system messages.
As the legal landscape for AI and Discord Bots evolves, we may update this policy. Continued use of Matrix after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be broadcast in our official news channel.
